12/1/21 – This is a very nice example of a Quality Hardware M1 Carbine issued to the US military between September 1943 – May 1944. A full parts list with markings is included with the photographs. Overall, it is in very nice condition, retaining most of its parkerized finish. The bolt is blued, although its bluing is mostly worn away. There are some light handling marks around the muzzle and front sight. Scratchy wear along the barrel, especially on the underside. Some spotty oxidation on the barrel band and noticeable brown patina on the trigger guard. The stock has a cross-canon military cartouche and “W.R.A G.H.D” Winchester inspector initials. There are small dings and scratches throughout, most noticeable on the right side near the trigger. The gun comes with a period-correct magazine, canvas sling, and oiler. The bore is mint.
