11/29/21 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. It is chambered in .30 Luger. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. There is an “Su 25” proof on the right side of the slide. From research, this seems to indicate the gun was sent to and reworked at the Simson factory. The gun is in excellent condition, retaining about 96-97% of its bluing. There is very minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. There are also some areas with tiny pits on the side plate. Minor somewhat scratchy wear on both grip straps. Comes with minty wood grips that do not fit the gun perfectly and were likely replaced. Comes with one magazine – the tube is blued and there is a “Crown M” marking on the wood base. The bore is mint.
