11/23/21 – This is a very nice example of an FN Browning Hi Power manufactured in the late 1950’s. It comes with a period-correct cardboard box that is not matching but very close. The gun is all matching, has the proper Belgian proofs, and has an “LSK ST 2135” marking on the front strap. This indicates that the gun was delivered to the Austrian government and issued to the Austrian State Police of Steiermark or Styria. The gun also comes with two matching-numbered magazines. It has retained about 93% of its finish. There is somewhat spotty wear concentrated on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Minor wear on the front edges of the frame and an area of scratchy wear on the top of the slide. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is noticeable scratchy wear and patina on both grip straps. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips – some minor bruising here and there. The bore is mint.
