11/22/21 – This is an original Late WW2 example of a Japanese Type 30 bayonet. The bayonet comes with a fairly scarce bamboo wood scabbard. The scabbard has some mild surface wear throughout and patina on the metal toe, but the biggest issue is a crack and indent on one side that extends to the top of the scabbard. The blade is excellent with dark bluing throughout and no rust or pitting. Stamped at the base of the blade. The wood handle has no cracks or chips and typical patina on the pommel.
