11/5/21 – This is a very nice example of a .22 Caliber Walther PPK sold in the commercial market in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with an excellent leading-edge Akah brown leather holster, one period-correct flat bottom magazine, and one period-correct finger extension magazine. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish finish. Most of the finish loss is on the round edge of the right side of the slide, especially around the muzzle. There is minor spotty oxidation in the same area. There are similar but more mild wear patterns on the left side of the slide near the muzzle and on the right side near the tang. Comes with a very nice period-correct brown grip – the tops flare out a little, and there is a hairline crack on the right side. The bore is mint.
