10/22/21 – This is an original late WW2 manufactured K98 bayonet. Comes with a matching numbered scabbard. The bayonet blade has excellent blued finish throughout with no rust or pitting, nor any signs of sharpening. The blade and scabbard are both 5508 serial numbered and maker stamped “44agv” on the reverse. The scabbard is excellent as well with no dents and minimal patina. No cracks or chips in the wood handle. Great metal pommel.
