10/8/21 – This is a beautiful near-mint example of a Colt Government Model 1911A1 sold in the commercial market in 1969. The gun is all matching and has retained about 98% of its original finish. There is one small area of wear on the front strap and some light scratches on the left side of the frame from the takedown lever. Just the faintest hint of wear around the muzzle and some tiny dots of freckling on the back strap. Comes with excellent brown plastic Colt grips and a proper magazine. The bore is near-mint – very shiny with strong rifling.
