8/31/21 – This is an original WW2 Japanese Officer’s Sword. The sword has a machine-made blade in excellent condition. There are some very mild, small areas of speckling oxidation. This is very minor wear, and not easily visible. The handle has some mild signs of aging where the cloth wrap has darkened slightly, but is in great condition and completely in tact. The scabbard is missing the base fitting, and there is some minor dents around the fitting 1/4 up the scabbard from the toe. The paint is mostly in tact.
