8/2/21 – This is an original and all matching Nazi Walther P.38 rig from March of 1941, down to the original, matching numbered magazines. It’s a first variation example with high-polish blue and ‘ac’ proof on trigger guard. It has 87-90% of the original blue remaining, with the front strap showing the largest area of bluing loss. Also some spots of wear on both sides of the slide and the high edges. Excellent bore and good mechanics. The grips are E/359 proofed and unnumbered. All small parts correctly have E/359 inspection proof. Rig is completed by a hardshell holster which is ’42 dated and ‘jwa’ maker marked.
