7/20/21 – This is an original 1917 dated holster for a US model 1911 Colt pistol. The back leather is maker stamped “S&R Co.” and is dated 1917 with inspector initials “L.N.O.”. The black leather is in great condition but there are three small holes on the front leather around the center of the “US” stamp from a previous embellishment. The leather is pliable with surface wrinkling but no major issues. Stitching is all in tact.
