7/15/21 – This is a rare Walther PPK that was part of a Luftwaffe Contract order in the early 1940s, and retains one of the original, matching magazines. These pistols are identified by high-polish blue, waffenamts on slide and frame, and serial number on baseplate of the magazine. There were only 10,000 Army PPKs produced with WaA359 on frame and slide and high-polish blue, so presumably only a small fraction of those were diverted to the Luftwaffe contract. This one has about 85-90% blue, with thinning on the rounded portion of both sides of the slide, and some more on the front strap. Terrific bore. Grip is in excellent condition with no cracks.
