7/14/21 – This is a terrific example of an original No.5 Mk.1 Jungle Carbine that was produced in 1945 at the Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) factory. BSA-Shirley produced about 87,000 of these in three years of production, which is roughly half of the production total that was done over at Fazakerley. The original finish is excellent with hardly any wear. Same goes for the wood furniture and bore. Electro-penciled serials/markings can be correct for BSA production at this time. Has metal end cap on stock and proper flash hider. Includes canvas sling.
