7/9/21 – This is a WW1 production M1917 Bolo knife. Maker stamped and dated on the base, as well as stamped “US Mod 1917”. The blade has dark oxidation throughout and shows signs of sharpening. The wood handle has a few mild chips / nicks in the wood but are original to the piece. The scabbard has a tan canvas cover and leather reinforced toe. The leather is maker stamped and dated 1918.
