6/30/21 – This is a minty example of a Remington Model 1903-A3 bolt action rifle issued to the US military in 1943. The receiver dates to August of 1943 and the barrel is marked August of 1943. The barrel is also properly marked “RA” and has the correct military flaming bomb proof. The stock has a cross-canon military cartouche and an “FJA” inspector proof. The stock is also marked “RA”, indicating the gun was re-arsenaled. The finish on the gun, however, appears to be original. The bolt and floor plate are blued and the receiver and barrel are parkerized. Just some minor handling marks here and there. The stock is excellent with a few minor bruises and scratches here and there. Mint bore.
