6/25/21 – This is a scarce, gorgeous Nazi K98 as produced in 1939 by Erma. Erma produced K98s only until 1941, when they switched to Mp40 production. This example has all matching numbers throughout, including bolt assembly, stock, trigger group, buttplate, bands, rear sight, etc. Even has the matching grip screws! The bluing is original and in excellent condition with minor wear around the muzzle and bands, and a little on the trigger group. The stock has several waffenamts on the wrist, underside and face of the stock. The stock has a few dings, and a visible indent on the left side underneath the bolt release. Original sling, cleaning rod and muzzle cover included. Beautiful, shiny bore. NOTE: There is a hairline crack on the top side of the wrist. While the crack doesn’t go through the wrist, it’s an area that could worsen if firing the rifle, so we would recommend not shooting this one given the condition and collector value of it.
