4/27/22 – This is a desirable Colt Frontier Six Shooter from 1894 with scarce black powder frame. All matching serial numbers on frame, near trigger guard, and on the base of the grip. It’s chambered for .44-40 with a 4.5in barrel, though it appears the gun was re-barreled in the early 1900s. Very nice condition overall but finish loss on right side of barrel, cylinder and grip frame. Terrific bore. Nice grips with some smoothing over the years but no cracks or chips. Antique, so no license required.
