6/11/21 – This is an excellent example of a Mauer P.38 put together by the French immediately after WW2. The gun is all matching and has a French star proof on the slide. They used some leftover Nazi parts, as evidenced by a waffen proof on the barrel. The gun is all matching and has the proper “svw 45” Mauser factory code. It has retained about 97% of its finish with minor wear at the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Comes with nice post-war French grips and a waffen-proofed WW2 magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
