6/4/21 – This is a nice example of a rare 1921-dated DWM Luger. It was initially issued to the Imperial German Army during WW1, was reworked by the police, and was issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. The gun is matching, has an added police sear safety, and has an Imperial regiment marking on the front strap that was crossed out. No letter suffix in the serial number. It also comes with a WW2-era matching magazine that was numbered at the police arsenal. The gun has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the straps, where there is also some minor patina. There are also areas of wear on the side plate, side rails, chamber, and around the muzzle. Comes with very nice un-numbered grips. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
