6/4/21 – This is a nice example of a rare Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1911. The gun is all matching and has the proper Imperial and Erfurt proofs. The frame does not have a stock lug, which is correct for this early variation. It has retained about 92-93% of its finish. There is wear on the side plate, side rails, around the muzzle, and spotty wear on the straps. While there isn’t a lot of actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation and minor pitting on the whole frame. Comes with slightly worn matching grips and a post-war magazine. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling.
