5/18/21 – This is a Winchester M1 Carbine from early 1945. The metal parts are all Winchester made, but the stock was likely replaced after the war. Winchester marked slide, barrel, bolt, mag catch, hammer, trigger housing. Stock is not marked but handguard is RMC marked. Minty bore. It’s a late-war gun so adjustable sight and bayonet lug were possible but best guess is the lug was added after the war.
