6/13/22 – This is an excellent example of a Pre-WW2 Mauser Sportmodell Training Rifle, chambered in .22 LR. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown B U G” proofs. It has retained the majority of its original bluing. There is light spotty wear on the barrel, especially around the muzzle. Some light spotty patina here and there. Excellent stock with minor bruising here and there and a few small chips near the action. The gun comes with a nice period-correct leather sling with light cracking throughout. Minty bore – shiny with strong rifling.
