4/21/21 – This is an early first variation Walther P.38 from 1941 with the original matching magazine and grips. It has about 95% of the high-polish blue remaining, several small spots of finish loss but no major areas of wear. Frame is ‘ac’ marked, indicating first variation issue. All small parts are properly E/359 proof. Grips and magazine matching numbered to the pistol. Bore has strong rifling but minor frost in the grooves. Note that the de-cocker does not work but safety does. Hischier collection.
