2/25/21 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1934 rig issued to the Nazi military during WW2. The rig comes with an excellent unique holster and two period-correct magazine. The holster is in a commercial style, is dated 1940, and has a Leipzig makers mark on it. This is not a traditional military style so our best guess was that the soldier purchased this custom holster at a local shop in Leipzig. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 655” military proof at the back of the frame. It has retained about 97% of its original high polish finish. There is minor wear on the front edges of the slide and some light scratches on the front strap. Excellent grip. Mint bore.
