2/15/21 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Gewehr 98 issued to the Imperial German army in 1916. The gun is all correct and honest. All parts are matching, including the stock and screws. There Imperial proofs throughout. The metal parts have thinning and areas of spotty oxidation throughout. There are scratches and handling marks on the receiver. The stock is excellent with minor dings and bruises throughout. The markings are a little faint, but visible. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling.
