2/5/21 – This is an original Black Army Colt 1911 with Colt archives letter from 1918. It says it was shipped in September of that year, and went to Bush Terminal in Brooklyn. It has maybe 92% of the finish remaining, with wear on the high edges, mainspring housing and underside of the slide. Mint Colt barrel with disconnected ‘H P’ marking. Slide has ‘H’ proof on rear. Grips show age and handling wear but no cracks. Original two-tone magazine.
