2/5/21 – This is an excellent Type 2 paratrooper M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. It was at least partially modified after the war as a bayonet lug was added. There is also an adjustable rear sight that may have been added as well. The barrel dates to 1943. There is a “P” and “AAS” marking on the stock. The gun is in excellent condition, retaining most of its finish. The stock is excellent with a few small dings. Fully functional. The gun comes with one magazine, a canvas sling, and a post-war “US” marked carrying case. A photo of the complete parts list has been included. The gun is not photographed with a magazine, but will include a WW2-era magazine.
