1/5/21 – This is a nice example of a rare Winchester Model 62A Gallery Gun. These guns were given to shooting galleries, and if you hit the target, you’d win a prize. It has a spring a chain attachment to encourage gun safety and discourage theft. This gun comes with the original spring and chain. It is chambered in .22 Short and has a triangular notch in the magazine tube. It also comes with an original box (hand-numbered to the gun), owners manual, warranty card, and product tag. It has a large “Winchester” logo on the side so that the customers knew which kind of gun they were shooting. The gun is in very nice condition. There is, however, an even layer of brown patina throughout and an area of wear around the barrel band. The stock is excellent – just a few scratches on the right side. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and one bulge toward the muzzle.
