12/4/20 – This is an original 1942 dated K98 bayonet with matching numbered scabbard. The scabbard has a leather frog that has a very faint maker stamp on the back side. The leather is in great shape with some light surface wear around the closure loop, but no major issues. The scabbard has no dents. The bayonet blade has an excellent finish with minimal wear. No signs of sharpening. Matching numbered 3438p and maker stamped / dated on the reverse.
