11/27/20 – This is a scarce M1 Carbine as produced in 1944 by I.B.M in New York. Only 5.7 percent of total M1 Carbine production during the war was done by IBM. Correct and original IBM parts throughout, including SCB marked stock. The front sight is also correct (SI B) but does appear painted or refinished for whatever reason, perhaps for added visibility. Excellent finish on barrel and receiver with just a big of wear on trigger guard. Terrific bore. Stock is in great shape with no cracks or chips. Includes sling.
