11/24/20 – This is a very nice and original example of a prewar FN Browning High Power issued to the Belgian military. The pistol is all matching with about 96-97% of the polished blue remaining. While there’s only a little bit of finish loss on the high edges and underside of the slide, there is oxidation in many areas, especially the right side of the slide. The pistol correctly has the Circle H proofs on most of the parts, and also has the serial number on the frame under the grips, which is specific to this contract. The magazine is also correct with the circle H proof. The grips are minty but later replacements. Bore has strong rifling with no pitting. Tangent rear sight and stock slot in frame are also desirable features. Comes with a holster that is serialized to a different gun.
