11/5/20 – This is a nice example of a Beretta Model 1934 Rig issued to the Italian Army in 1939. It has the proper “RE” and “FAG 39” inspection proofs. The gun is all matching and has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The slide has a beautiful plumb color. There is thinning on both straps and wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. There are two small spots of wear on either side of the frame. There is spotty oxidation here and there but it is most noticeable on the straps. The bore has decent rifling, but there are areas of minor pitting here and there. It comes with excellent period-correct grips and a period-correct magazine. The gun comes with a nice brown leather holster. It has the original belt clip. There are two gouges in the leather on the back of the holster.
