11/4/20 – This is an original 1941 pigskin luger holster. These pigskin holsters are scarce as they were used only towards the end of the war as the Germans ran out of leather supply. The back of the holster is maker stamped, dated, waffen proofed, and P.08 stamped. The p.08 and waffen stamps are fairly faint compared to the maker and date stamps. The leather has normal pliability and some aging, but is completely in tact. All original stitching in tact as well.
