12/10/20 – This is the rarest of all the army issued Mauser HSc’s! In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 – Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This particular gun has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear and high edge wear on the slide toward the muzzle end. There is a couple of small areas of splotchy wear on the right side of the slide. There is one small spot of wear on the front strap. Minor wear on the high edges of the tang. Very minor pin-pricking on the back strap. The bore is minty. The grips are excellent.
