9/22/20 – This is a nice example of a Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle, chambered in .30 WCF. From the serial number, the gun was manufactured in 1899. The finish is excellent, but it appears to be an old re-blue. There are areas of very light freckling and small dings here and there on all the metal parts. The stock is very nice but there are small dings, dents, and scratches throughout. There are one or two small cracks around the tang. Also near the tang, there is a triangle that may be an old repair. The gun is functional. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
