8/20/20 – This is an original and excellent condition Spreewerke P.38 issued to the Nazi military in October of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 88” Nazi military acceptance proofs. The left side of the slide has the “cyq” Spreewerk factory code. The gun functions well including de-cocker. The gun has retained about 95 – 97% of its original bluing. There is very minor muzzle and high edge wear and a few very light surface scratches on the right side. It has visible machining marks throughout which is correct for the late war guns. There is thinning on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard. Excellent Spreewerk grips. Comes with a correct wartime Spreewerk magazine. The bore is shiny with good rifling, but there is minor frosting throughout. No import mark and not Russian dipped.
