8/10/20 – This is a fairly scarce “Bearskin Oakleaf 9” holster for a Mauser hsc pistol. The holster is stamped under the closure strap with a maker stamp known as the bearskin oakleaf 9, and is 1942 dated. There is also a waffen eagle military proof stamp in this area. The interior leather has a very faint ink smudge which would say Mauser 7.65mm. These holsters are desirable and seldom seen. The only downside to this holster is there are a few missing stitches both on the closure strap and on the belt loop. However, these are both securely fasted to the main body of leather.
