8/8/20 – This unique Remington model was made for trap shooting and was sometimes sold in kits with the “Moskeeto” clay bird thrower. There were approximately 3000 of this model manufactured. This rifle takes .22 cal shot loads and has the rare Routledge smooth bore barrel. This package includes the gun, clay thrower and approximately 50 rounds of .22 cal shot shells. Mechanically sound and completely functional. This beautiful piece has about 85 – 90% original bluing with hardwood stock an pump handle. Believed to be all original. The left side of the barrel is stamped “ROUTLEDGE BORE FOR .22 LONG RIFLE SHOT CARTRIDGE”, and the Remington Field Master markings on the left side of the receiver. Checkered Remington butt plate. Excellent bore.
