7/31/20 – This is an original WW2-era Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle complete with monopod. It was manufactured in the Nagoya arsenal. All of the numbered parts are matching. The mum is partially visible but has been scratched out. The metal parts have retained most of their original finish, but there are some areas of brown patina and minor freckling. There are dings, dents, and scratches in the stock throughout. The initials “HK” are scratched into the top surface of the stock on the left side, next to the receiver. Cleaning rod in tact. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there some small areas of freckling.
