7/15/20 – This is an original WW1 Trench Fighting Knife in its original scabbard. The knife is dated 1917 and marked “US” and “LF&C”. Most of the original bluing on the blade is in tact but there are streaks of wear on each side of the blade. There is patina and light rust on the handle. The wood is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the very tip of the blade is broken off. The scabbard is marked “M.S.” and “HE”. It is in good condition but there is patina on the metal parts throughout. There are scuff marks on the leather throughout. The tip is a little loose.
