10/10/21 – This is a rare DWM model 1900 luger with American Eagle crest on the chamber. This is the first production model of this variation, made in or around 1900 with early dish toggle. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This pistol is in good condition, but has notable thinning on the straps and high edge wear throughout. All matching numbers on the pistol with correct blank-bottom wood magazine. Bore is smooth and pitted throughout. Grips are numbered and matching to the pistol. Comes with a period holster that is quite worn.
