9/18/20 – This is a near-mint Smith & Wesson Victory Model from World War II. It is U.S. Property marked and G.H.D (Guy H. Drewry) inspector marked. The original finish is about 98-99% with a little bit of muzzle wear and a thin roll mark on cylinder. Minty bore. Made from 1942 to 1944, with a production run of ~500,000. They were standard issued side arms for US Navy and Marine air crews due to their size and ease of operation. It is .38 S&W special. Super smooth action. Comes with excellent, period original holster.
