6/26/20 – This is an excellent and complete dual-tone Mauser P.38 rig with ‘byf 44’ marked slide but likely completed in early 1945. Phosphate slide and frame with blued barrel. The pistol shows little actual finish loss, maybe just some dulling of the color to the phosphate finish. Excellent bore and proper mechanics. Grips are very nice too, with just a couple minor scratches on each panel. Rig comes with a total of two Mauser magazines. The holster is 1943 dated with ‘gww’ maker mark. It shows some obvious cracking and wear but no holes or tears.
