6/23/20 – Scarce and very good condition. Guaranteed original Indian Wars US Army Model 1881 holster for the Colt Single Action Army and Smith & Wesson Schofield revolvers. Stamped “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL” on the flap along with inspector marked “L.T.G.” and piece maker marked “A.M.A.” near the flap tip. Stitching is original and intact. There is surface cracking throughout, most notably on the flap. Distinct “US” oval embossed on the front. Great piece of early American history.
