5/28/20 – This is a complete Walther P.38 rig from May of 1943, with spare magazine and original holster. The pistol is all matching and original with about 92-93% military blue remaining. The profile view is minty with just a little high edge wear, but the front strap shows some obvious thinning and browning. Pistol has a mint bore and proper mechanics, including de-cocker. Minty brown grips. The magazine in the pistol is a correct Walther example, and the spare is an early and desirable Walther variant with double proofed spine. The holster is 1943 dated with ‘gxy’ maker mark. It’s in very good condition but does have the GIs name lightly scratched into the back.
