5/7/20 – This is an original nazi Police Degen (sword). The degen comes with the original sheath and a portepee. The blade is made by Eickhorn, and is in near mint condition. Measures 31.5 inches long with no signs of sharpening and almost no wear. The handle has a brass eagle inset on one side and a silver wire wrapping. There is one small chip on the grip just under the brass eagle on one side. The portepee is tight and in minty condition as well. The original sheath is also excellent, with some light surface wear on the black paint. There is some very minor paint loss in various areas, but no big spots or large areas of wear. Overall makes for a beautiful presentation and an excellent collector’s piece.
