5/4/20 – Original and great condition 1939 dated K98 bayonet. Ricasso stamped “6654” on one side and maker stamped on the other. Spine is date stamped “39”. Waffen stamped on the pommel, release button, and scabbard finial. Blade has 85%+ original bluing with minor scabbard wear. Bakelite grip is tight with no cracks or chips. Frog is maker stamped and dated 1938. Scabbard is matching to the bayonet. Scabbard has some surface patina and a small dimple on the front. Nice piece.
