4/13/20 – This is an Ithaca 1911A1 that was made in 1944 for the US Army, and ended up being used as part of the lend-lease program with Britain. The original finish is thinning throughout, but most pronounced on the slide. Correct inspectors marks on frame and slide. British proofs are present on slide, frame and barrel, and release date of 1952 is on the slide. Flannery barrel with strong bore. ‘R’ marked magazine. Nice grips with only minor handling wear.
