3/6/20 – This is an all matching and original example of a scarce Mauser Luger that was made in 1940. It is one of only 3,200 or so produced with Police E/L marking on receiver and 1940 manufacture date. The pistol shows obvious patination of the straps, and some surface pitting on the sideplate. It surprisingly has a mint bore, so could be a good shooter. Unmarked grips that fit well, but the right panel does have a crack in it. Magazine is period original but mismatched.
