12/19/19 – This is an early Ithaca M1911A1 from 1943, one of the first 15,000 produced. It’s ‘United States Property’ marked and was issued to the US Army. Original finish rates at about 80% with notable patches of finish loss on the front strap and right side of the slide. Grips show some smoothing and handling wear but no major defects. Minty bore. Excellent ‘S’ marked magazine. ‘HS’ marked barrel.
