11/27/19 – This is an all matching and original DWM Luger from 1916. The finish is original but a little tough to rate, as there isn’t much actual bluing loss, but browning and oxidation in most areas. Small parts have about 40-50% of the original straw. The original matching grips are present, and the left panel has the common, minor chip under the safety. Magazine is an original military example but mismatched to the gun. Bore shows a good amount of use, with frost and freckling throughout, and some smoothing of the grooves.
